Soldiers deliver heating coals to Seoul residents

U.S. Soldiers, Korean Augmentees to the U.S. Army and Korean Foreigners Friendship Cultural Society members visited Yeongdeungpo–gu Nov. 9, a neighborhood southwest of Seoul to deliver heating coals, to help keep the less fortunate warm during the upcoming winter. Known as Yeontan, the coals were widely used after the Korean War due to their cheap price and steady burning efficiency.
